Further Training
Our Team can recommend and guide you when the time comes to further your training. We have a catalogue of Prospectuses for the major Performing Arts Colleges and will accompany you to open days & auditions if you require additional support. Our team of choreographers will help to prepare you for auditions and ensure you have the greatest chance of success.
Examination Training for all ages
We pride ourselves on being fully qualified and registered with leading examining boards that are both internationally recognised, the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
- Grade, Rosette and medal examinations in all styles of dance with IDTA
- Qualifications in Speech, Drama and Communication with LAMDA

Many of our members feel pressured into deciding upon a career path from a very young age. At the Academy, we encourage them to seek a variety of options and gather a range of qualifications to give them greater freedom of choice.

Work Experience Placements
The Academy will on occasion provide work experience placements for keen, enthusiastic applicants who wish to have an insight into the varied world of 'Life & Soul' from coaching to administration to event planning. Extended work placements can also be arranged for the right highly motivated individual- please email if you would like to discuss the opportunity further.
Private Tuition
In an ever-changing world many have specific demands, needs and wants; therefore we offer private tuition for any age and group size. The lessons are individually tailored to meet the wants of the student and give invaluable attention to those wanting a helping hand and taught at mutually convenient times. We can offer private tuition for you and your circle of friends to give you something special to share together or we can put you and your colleagues through your paces as a fabulous team building exercise.
Performance Opportunities
At the Academy we are conscious to put training into practice and give members the opportunity to perform in a variety of venues and circumstances.
We are renowned for giving unique experiences combining the opportunity to work with highly skilled stage technicians and artistes, from prestigious venues to leading the parade in Disney to supporting local arts festivals or recording a music album we are leaders in sourcing once-in-a-lifetime events.
Workshops
We organise and deliver a host of workshops during school holidays to occupy the children and support parents working full and part-time. Most popular is our workshop we host in Llanegllwys, Wales -a whole week experiencing life 'On Tour' with children taking part in Dance, Drama, Singing, Yoga, Aerobics, outdoor activities, sight-seeing as well as producing and performing in their own show for the local residents.
Secondary & Primary School Specialist Support
We are fortunate to be able to offer specialist dance support for our local secondary and primary schools. Working to promote dance, well being and high self-esteem for the children at foundation level to Key Stage 4.
As part of our role as Dance and Performing Arts tutors we can provide Inset Training for the teachers, ensuring they promote quality control across all of the key stages and thus raising the overall standard within Dacorum.
Training facilities for Primary and Secondary Link Teachers are always problematic- more often than not training is conducted in inappropriate surroundings. Therefore, we are happy to invite you and your colleague to the Academy to learn in a inspirational location away from the constraints of your school environment.
We can support staff with the successful delivery of dance as per the national curriculum, including scheme of work and setting key learning outcomes for a diverse range of learning abilities with complete inclusion.
Our team can work along side you during the session or offer support remotely.
We currently run G.C.S.E dance, Dance Leadership Award, extra curricular clubs at lunchtimes and after school as well as visiting as part of specific themed weeks or projects. Contact us now to discuss your next Inset session or Enrichment Day for your school.

Our Team of highly skilled practitioners can provide choreographic support for the corporate world, Entertainers, Fashion show & event organisers, Companies promoting a new product or to add flair to a launch or opening as well as assisting Amateur Dramatic & theatre groups and local schools staging their annual production.
